How long does it take to bike ride to Taughannock falls state park ?

The distance from the Cass Park entrance in Ithaca to the “Upper Taughannock Falls” is some 8.5 miles. Treated as an athletic challenge, it could be done in a half hour. (Not faster, because you’re not supposed to go faster than 15 mph on these trails, and because the surface is just a bit loose and provides a bit of resistance to going fast.) Returning from north to south, it’s enough downhill that you can go faster more easily; a half hour might be reasonable. So, overall, I’d think maybe an hour and a quarter for someone reasonably strong and out just for the exercise.
By contrast, I rode with my wife and a friend from Cass up the trail, then to Trumansburg for dinner and back down the trail to Cass; we spent 4 hours total doing it.
